About This Course:
The disciplines of change management and project management both contribute to the success of an architectural project or initiative of an organization. By integrating these disciplines, from the initiation of the project through to completion, architects and design professionals of other disciplines are able to connect the people side and technical side of the change and ensure that the organizational benefits of the change are realized.
In this learning program, the five dimensions of integration for change management and project management will be examined, including People, Process, Tools, Methodologies, and Results and Outcomes.
1. Attendees will understand the basics of and how “the golden triangle” or P-P-T framework (People, Process and Tools) is vital to successful completion of architectural projects
2. Attendees will learn the steps, activities, and bench-markings that work together to achieve project goals.
3. Attendees will learn what key factors shall be considered to ensure that technology fits into the organization and satisfies its needs
4. Attendees will learn how to identify a project’s choke points, eliminate waste, increase efficiency, and reduce time to value by leveraging the P-P-T framework
